Prepare Your Space:
Cover your table with newspaper or a plastic tablecloth. It's like a superhero cape for your furniture! Put on some old clothes or a smock — let’s keep the paint on the paper, not your pants!
Open with Care:
Give the bottle a good shake-shake-shake to wake the paint up! Then, slowly open the cap so it doesn’t go splat!
Let’s Get Painting!
Paint on paper, cardboard, wood — even rocks or seashells you found on the beach! Brushes go back into the right bottle so your colors don’t get mixed-up. And when you're done, cap it and clean it — that keeps your paints fresh and ready for next time!
Drying Time:
Your artwork will be dry to the touch in about 15–30 minutes — just enough time for a snack break! Yummm. Make sure it’s all the way dry before you pick it up or show it off.
Clean-Up Time:
Wash your hands and work space with warm water and soap — splish, splash! Uh-oh! Got paint on your clothes, the floor, or even the couch? Tell a grown-up super fast! The sooner they know, the easier it is to clean! The paint comes off skin and most clothes, but the sooner you clean, the better it works.
Away for the day:
Put the cap back on tight so your paint doesn’t dry out at night. Store your paints standing up in a cool, dry place, ready for your next masterpiece!
